I'm Katy Guyer aka DJ KT

I'm 23 years old, based in Albany, NY, and I have fallen in love with dj'ing for my friends and family, and making unforgettable memories with those I love, doing what I love.

 ■ I love learning and having new experiences (I am terrified of heights however)
■ I love partying (duh!) and feeling what I call, 'Girl'

■ the beginning

As a kid, i would listen to artists like dillon francis, skrillex, krewella, and avicci because of my brother, joe, that would listen to edm quite frequently. over the years i began to find new sub-genres of edm that i love, and through that, my kid dream of being a dj was very real to me lol

now that i’ve been dj’ing at local clubs/bars, i can say that that dj dream has become reality!

my typical audience consists of young adults and college students, as the songs i play are typically 2000’s - 2010’s hits, electro and bass house, techno- all with my own twist, of course! on the contrary, music is for all ages, every person, anywhere.

about me

■ when my dj cutie mark appeared...

I started practicing with a Numark Mixtrack Pro 3 that a friend gave me in 2023. The more I practiced, the better I got, and the more I loved it. I began by Playing for my sorority and some fraternities in college, and I fell in love with the music and dancing with my best friends!

After being generously gifted a pioneer ddj-grv6 in late 2025 by my sister, claire, my abilities have been expanding and improving with every session.

I figured if I could turn my passion into something others could enjoy (and make some gas money), then why not?

So here I am today — a professional DJ sharing my work for the world.
